Hello! Beverly Kobus here....

October 25, 2016

I was born and raised in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado after high school.  I am married to and amazing man and have 4 incredible children.   I worked in the high tech industry most of my life.  Due to downsizing I lost my job, I didn't realize it at first but it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me.

I was able to focus on me and what I wanted to do with my life.  One day after getting lash extensions I started thinking about how amazing I felt getting my lashes.  This led me to start looking into schools so that I could start doing lash extensions.  I have always been passionate about helping others and if I could help others feel the way I did after a treatment that would be amazing.

I started researching what I needed to do to start doing lash extensions and found out I needed to get my estheticians license first then get my lash extension certification.  So my research began, I started looking at all the schools in the area so that I could find the right school for me.  I interviewed and visited quite a few schools in the area and then I found the perfect school for me School of Botanical and Asthetics.  I walked in to the interview at the school and imediately  knew that this was the perfect school for me.

Two weeks later I was in my first class.  As my schooling started I realized that I absolutely loved everything about being an esthetician.  I became more and more passionate about the work that I was doing.  I worked hard to get my license as soon as I possibly could.  I loved the natural and medical side of skincare.  We are all so different and our beliefs and needs are different.  I received my certificate in Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and Chemical Peels while going to school as well.

While going to school I started reading up and studying skincare for people struggling with cancer.  I decided that this was something that I wanted to offer my clients as well.  So I went and received my Oncology Skincare certification.

I finished all my hours and took my state exams and was now a licensed esthetician.   Remember, my goal was to do lash extensions.  So I went and received my certification in lash extensions.   Lash extensions are not for everyone and I then went and got my certification in Lash Lifting.

I wanted to work for myself and be able to set my own hours and take care of my clients the way that I could best helping them to feel unique and special.  So I opened up my own place BK Lash and Skin Boutique.  All of my services are performed with healing energy,  gentle touch, and the finest available beauty and skin care products.
